Days available are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and the position is to take over from a leaving dentist. More days available in future if desired.

Role

- Diagnose and treat our patients for comprehensive dentistry

- Help in leading our small and friendly team.

You will be/have

- Fully qualified; you will need a tertiary degree in dentistry, such as a Bachelor of Dental surgery or a Bachelor of Dentistry and hold at least General Registration with the Dental Board of Australia

- Acquired your own Professional Indemnity Insurance

- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to relate easily to a wide range of people. This is essential in meeting the Practice's friendly, approachable style of service

- Confident in diagnosing comprehensive treatment plans
- The ability to fit in and help drive a small team, be friendly, positive and come with a can-do attitude.
- Experience in Cerec (highly preferred), Crowns and Onlay/ Inlay Procedures essential. Candidates with experience in these treatments will be highly regarded.

- Implant dentistry experience preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 12 months experience required.
- ADC candidates welcome.

Very Busy Practice -  Experienced Dentist required for a well established, privately owned general and cosmetic practice located in Sydney’s north west suburbs.

The position is to work with a principal/owner and is to replace a leaving dentist.

Week days to be worked are flexible. 9am to 2pm on alternate Saturdays required. 

Suitable candidates are required to have at least 3 to 5 years experience with excellent all round general dental skills along with skills in cosmetic dentistry and surgical experience. Must have the ability to work unsupervised. The ideal candidate must feel comfortable in providing large treatment plans and would be ideal if they had a volume or portfolio of their work for review.  

Candidates must also have undertaken further studies in surgical extractions and placement of implants, bone grafting etc and soft tissue management.  

Our practice specialises in Cosmetic dentistry with a heavy presence in orthodontics (invisible trays and standard braces) as well as both porcelain and composite veneers and implant surgery. Our practice also caters to general dental and family dental so they must be approachable and have great bedside manner. Our patients enjoy the experience so the ideal candidate must be able to interact with the patient and create banter and rapport.  

The practice has 3 surgeries and is fully equipped with rotary endo, 3d printer and trios scanner, intra oral cameras, implant kit, sinus lift kits and membrane tacks for surgical implant placement and 2020 model Sirona CBCT. The practice also has its own lab for printing and trying in 3d smile designs and full mouth rehab buildups.

The position is available to commence asap. Remuneration will be commission based and will be discussed with the successful applicant.

Suitable candidates are required to have at least 2 years experience, excellent communication skills and a comprehensive range of clinical skills. The practice provides same day crowns (Planmeca) and you will therefore need to have, or be interested in learning, this aspect of dentistry.

Part Time.  Candidates can opt for some or all of the following hours/days available. Tuesdays 7.45am to 4.30pm, Thursdays 7.45am to 4.30pm or 1.00pm to 9.00pm, Friday mornings, alternate Saturdays, alternate Sundays. 

The practice has modern, well maintained equipment – including digital OPG and xrays. There is also an operating microscope and access to hard and soft tissue lasers and a Trios scanner.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will need to display a proficiency in all areas of general dentistry and be able to demonstrate success in providing ongoing patient care.

Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills are a necessity. As such, the position is only suitable for dentists who have at least 4 years of experience, preferably in private practice.  

Candidates with a passion for restorative dentistry, endodontics and / or oral surgery / wisdom tooth removal and possibly implant placement will find our practice a perfect fit.
