Sunshine Coast - Weekend Position - Privately owned practice
A great opportunity for an experienced compassionate Dental Surgeon to join our team of clinicians in our clinic located in a busy suburb in a prime location on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
We are looking for a dentist to work weekends, Saturdays & Sundays available now.
The practice has been established nearly 20 years which is one of the longest established privately owned clinics on the coast, the Principal Dentist set up from scratch 2 decades ago. With over 5500 active patients we are currently expanding to a purpose built facility to transform the principal’s vision into reality. With this mind, time has been spent on designing a unique place in which to work, taking into account an environment that enhances a feeling of well-being while carrying out the day to day tasks at the coalface of dentistry. The bespoke design is a dream to both patients and dentists. Whether it’s the high vaulted ceiling in the waiting room or large staff lounge to relax between patients, it certainly ticks all boxes. The nurses will adore our new decontamination/sterilisation room (built in accordance with ASNZ 4187) with a Mocom disinfector (no more scrubbing instruments!).
All rooms will have 2020 Sirona Sinius chairs that are fully integrated endodontic function, saline pumps, sanitisation systems, with full fibre optic /electric motors and LED plus lighting. You can use the latest Digital intraoral radiographic sensors XIOS XG (with 33 line pairs resolution) & Orthophos OPG/Lat ceph/CBCT is, in my opinion, the best imaging and clarity on the market at present and makes diagnosis a dream. Together with the full Sivision package with intraoral camera that automatically integrates in Sidexis 4 software, shows the patients on widescreen LED monitor all the imaging in one place (including CBCT imaging). This makes treatment planning seamless, as well as intuitively easy, to explain to patients what is needed, in turn improving case acceptance.
We also have latest CEREC Omnicam CAD CAM with MC milling unit. This will mill all the latest ceramics, lithium disilicate and zirconium oxide (dry mill) and sintering furnace programmes to process these chairside. Whether you are scanning for a diagnostic model, inlay or implant scanbody to send to the lab, this does it all!
You will be working alongside experienced Oral Health Therapists, which allows our Dentists to focus on general treatment, as well as complex dentistry.
We will have an anaesthetist regularly visit to administer IV sedation to your patients.
We practice the latest evidence based dentistry by attending relevant causes and being an active member of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. The prospective candidate will hopefully have great soft skills in communication (Primespeak trained) as well as offering an interest in an area of dentistry that you can contribute to the practice.
What you will receive:
Brand new equipment & facilities.
Well trained support staff that care about you and their patients.
Have support from an experienced clinician and Principal.
Good remuneration (40% commission option)
