Inner East Melbourne - Part Time position

Part Time Dentist required to join a privately owned, boutique style practice in Melbourne’s leafy inner eastern suburbs.

The position is initially 2 days per week. Days are open to negotiation but ideally either Wednesdays, Fridays or Saturday mornings.

The practice is currently worked by the principal/owner. We are looking for an additional dentist to join our small, dedicated team which includes an experienced hygienist/oral health therapist and dedicated support staff.

Ideally, we are seeking a dentist with at least 2 years’ experience however we also welcome interest from dentists with less experience who feel they have attained suitable experience in private practice. To be considered for this role you will need to have a genuine interest and ability to work as part of a small, cohesive team which thrives on continuing education and personal and professional development.

The practice provides a comprehensive range of dental treatments from routine general dentistry through to aesthetics, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and more.

Remuneration will be discussed with the successful applicant and will be based on experience.

General dentistry; family orientated practice.

The position is to commence asap to take over the books of a dentist who has recently left the practice.

Hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Saturdays are an option if desired.

The practice has 4 well equipped and fully computerised surgeries with Sirona chairs, digital x-rays, Oasis software, Intra-oral camera and rotary endo.

Remuneration 40% with a minimum retainer of $150K per annum.

The practice can also assist with relocation expenses and rental assistance is available.

The position is to take over the books of a leaving dentist and to commence asap.

Days available are Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays. Surgery hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm. There’s also potential for 9.00am to 2.00pm Saturdays. Additional week days will be available once we extend from 2 surgeries to 3.

The practice is very well situated amongst various retail shops and businesses and provides a stylish, welcoming environment. Currently we have two treatment rooms which are modern and well equipped; with plans to expand to include a third surgery to accommodate the needs of our increasing patient base.

Applications are invited from Dentists with all levels of experience including new Graduates. The principal/owner is happy to provide mentorship.

Applicants must be personable and have excellent communication and clinical skills.
