Dentist required to take over an existing patient base from a leaving practitioner. Position available now.

We are a busy, modern, privately owned dental practice which has been established in the thriving city of Newcastle for over 40 years and we are currently seeking an enthusiastic dentist to join our team, 3 to 3.5 days per week. Hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm plus one 6.00pm finish.

We welcome candidates with all levels of experience.

Must be confident to work as solo practitioner on 2 days. The practice is currently worked by 2 dentists, with one being the principal dentist/owner.

The practice is located in the heart of Newcastle CBD in beautiful modern, stylish premises and offering a comprehensive range of dental treatments from routine general dentistry through to high-tech cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. We practice pain-free dentistry and have a loyal and still growing patient base. A great practice for a dentist wishing to fully utilize their skillset in a professional and supportive environment. Very good communication skills are essential and must be able to develop a good rapport with patients. You will need to have the ability to practice using up to date procedures and technology.  

Remuneration for an experienced dentist will be 40% commission basis.

Full Time position available for a Dentist to work with our busy, privately owned, general dental practices on the beautiful Mid-North Coast of NSW.

Large coastal city with great beaches, an excellent climate and providing a very attractive lifestyle.

We have 4 modern, well equipped practices with state-of-the-art technology including digital OPG, cone beam and x-rays, intra-oral camera etc. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work at some or all 4 practices, providing a great deal of variety in a supportive environment.

Our practices provide a wide range of dental treatments and we have visiting specialists including an Endodontist, Prosthodontist and an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon.

Hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Possible Saturdays.

Remuneration for an experienced dentist will be a commission basis. Remuneration will be discussed with new/recent graduates.

The practice has 5 well equipped surgeries with digital x-rays and OPG providing a full range of general dental treatments to a large patient base. Once a month GA and fortnightly IV sedation available. Working alongside experienced dentists in oral surgery, in-house prosthetists and hygienist.

Applications must be experienced with good communication skills and excellent all round clinical skills. 

Remuneration will be in accordance with experience and skills and will be discussed with the successful applicant.

ORTHODONTICS

A unique opportunity for a Dentist with a strong interest in orthodontics or an Orthodontist to establish yourself and take over a 9-year-old orthodontic department within our 20+ year old general practice.

The position would be to practice 2-3 days a week doing orthodontics only. No late nights or weekends.

We have recently expanded our orthodontic department to the floor below and created a newly fitted out, dedicated orthodontic floor consisting of 2 surgeries, reception, consult room, OPG machine complete with lat-ceph, digital scanners etc. 

A fantastic and unique opportunity to work in a practice with an already developed orthodontic department that receives internal and external referrals and has a consistent flow of new patients, comprising of adults and children. Work alongside two Oral Health Therapists that are trained in Orthodontics and a dedicated treatment coordinator.  

The position is open to experienced dentists or Orthodontists who can work without supervision and who possess Orthodontic skills (Including fixed braces). The successful candidate will need to be a friendly team player as this is a workplace with a close-knit team.

Excellent communication and patient consultation skills and an interest in ongoing professional development are essential requirements.

Must have experience in treating adults and children using fixed and removable appliances.

The practice is privately owned and well established. This is a permanent Part Time position.

The position is to work Saturdays 8am to 3pm. 

Suited to a dentist with at least 3 years of experience to provide a comprehensive range of general & cosmetic dental treatments to the highest standards.

Must be able to interact well with patients who expect the best and be able to deliver the high standards of treatment that they have come to expect at this practice. You will need to be confident with all facets of dentistry and have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
