Dentist required to work with a busy, privately owned general dental practice located in an attractive regional city a few hours drive north west of Melbourne on the banks of the Murray River.

The position is initially part time, 3 days per week, with plenty of scope to become full time within a few months. The position is available for an immediate start.  

Applications are welcomed from Dentists with all levels of experience to work with the Principal dentist /owner and an assistant dentist. Recent graduates will be provided with mentorship by the principal/owner, making this an ideal opportunity to learn and be guided in all aspects of general dentistry.

We have ambidextrous dental chairs suited to both right and left handed dentists.

The practice has dental 3 chairs in well equipped surgeries with intraoral scanner and provides a range of general and preventative dental treatments to a loyal patient base. We also do implants and orthodontics so there’s plenty of opportunity to fully utilise your existing skills and to develop new skills in these aspects of dentistry under the mentorship of the principal dentist/owner.

Remuneration will be discussed with the successful applicant. We offer commission based remuneration with a daily retainer.

Accommodation can be provided for up to 8 weeks to enable you to settle in to your new role and new surroundings in this very welcoming and friendly rural community.

Hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Saturday work can be arranged if desired. The position is available for an immediate start.

You will be provided with flights, accommodation (may be shared) and car during your time with RFDS.

We require a minimum of 2 weeks placement, Monday to Friday, but can be ongoing for as long as you wish, by negotiation.
