About The Area:

We are located in the rapidly growing Wide Bay-Burnett Region on the Burnett River and approximately 10kms inland from the coast.

The main industry in the region is sugar cane as well as various fruit and vegetable growing and production industries which employ many of the permanent residents as well as attracting travellers on working visas, all of which bring an interesting and varied mix of cultures to the area. The city still retains many of its beautiful, historical buildings and picturesque streetscapes which are appealing to not only the local population but also the many tourists who travel to the area.

Remuneration for an experienced dentist will be 40% commission. New graduates will be paid a salary.

Remuneration will be discussed with the successful applicant. We offer commission based remuneration with a daily retainer.

Our practice currently has 3 busy full-time dentists and 2 hygienists. To continue to grow we are looking for a fun, team player with an eagerness to further their skills.

The position is to work Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays each week.

We are focused on continual growth, CPD and for new graduates regular weekly mentorship with the principal dentist is available.

Accommodation can be provided for up to 8 weeks to enable you to settle in to your new role and new surroundings in this very welcoming and friendly rural community.

Hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Saturday work can be arranged if desired. The position is available for an immediate start.

The work may also include the provision of dentistry to public patients in Broken Hill as well as working in Aboriginal Health Centres.

You will be provided with flights, accommodation (may be shared) and car during your time with RFDS.

We require a minimum of 2 weeks placement, Monday to Friday, but can be ongoing for as long as you wish, by negotiation.

Remuneration is aligned with NSW Health Awards dependent upon experience.
