We require a Dentist to take over a patient base and work closely with our professional, collaborative team in our busy, privately owned general family practice. 

The position is to replace our senior dental surgeon who is going on maternity leave, however, a definite opportunity to retain at least two permanent days will be offered to the successful candidate, on return of our senior dental surgeon.

Hours/Days required are 8.30am to 5.00pm, 3-4 days per week.  

The successful applicant must have:

Ideally minimum 2-3 years experience, however, new graduates are welcome to apply.

Excellent patient management, communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have the ability to build patient rapport, and with our support, must have the correct aptitude and personality to build up their books.
Have exceptional clinical, patient care and communication skills.
Can work effectively as a team member, in a relaxed, professional environment
Strong focus on preventative care and education of patients.

A never ending desire for continued education and learning is essential with excellent mentorship available as we undertake all disciplines of dentistry including Implantology, Orthodontics (both Fixed Orthodontics as well as Invisalign Treatment), Crown and Bridge, and complex chronic Orofacial pain including TMJ disorders. Our practice principal is also a lecturer and teacher both overseas, and at the University of Melbourne (Prosthodontics Masters Program).

Experience in Endodontics will be considered favourably but not essential. An interest in furthering your training in areas such as Orthodontics, Implantology and Crown and Bridge (including digital smile design) will be to your advantage as our practice undertakes these advanced procedures.

The practice has 4 fully equipped surgeries with modern equipment including intra oral radiographic units, and Fibreoptic Handpieces. Each surgery is equipped to view scans from our ICAT (state of the art 3D volumetric on-site radiography unit) which is a key tool in comprehensive treatment planning for implants, prosthodontics, TMJ, Craniofacial Pain and Orthodontics.  

We also have two state of the art iTero 5D intra oral scanning units (including the latest iTero Lumina unit).

Part Time Dentist required to work Mondays for a privately owned practice in one of Melbourne’s major growth areas.

Hours for the Mondays are 9am to 5pm.

We are seeking an experienced dentist to commence asap and who can provide our loyal patients with a wide range of clinical treatments performed to a high standard. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Experience in areas such as Cerec, Lasers, Implants, Holistic Dentistry would be looked upon favourably but are not essential prerequisites.
